Conference Table Power Hub Configuration Guide

Four decisions, one formula — configure it right the first time and never rework a tabletop again.

Conference table power is where furniture makers and AV integrators most often guess instead of calculate. Too few modules and the table fails users; too many and you burn budget and cable space. Here is the four-decision framework we use with OEM customers — follow it and the math takes care of itself.

Decision 1: How many modules per seat?

Rule of thumb: one module per two seats. A 10-seat conference table needs 5 power modules; boardroom and executive tables should go one-per-seat. The carrier depends on budget — motorized pop-up (ZSE) for premium lines, pneumatic (ZST) for volume projects, flip-up (ZSP) when multimedia density is high.

Decision 2: Which charging interfaces?

Recommended baseline: each module = 2 AC + 20W USB-A+C. Add one "hero module" per table with 65W PD or 15W Qi wireless (ZSO wireless charging series) for laptops and flagship phones.

Decision 3: Do you need HDMI / RJ45?

Only when the table is hardwired to a projector, display or intranet — training rooms and command centers, mostly. The ZSP flip-up and ZS06 series both accept HDMI + RJ45 modules. If the room uses wireless screen sharing, skip them and reallocate the budget to higher-wattage USB-C.

Decision 4: What installation numbers must you verify?

  1. Cutout size: ZSE round D=100mm; ZST round D=100–113mm; ZSP rectangular 242–427×104×103mm. Always request the CAD cutout drawing for your exact model before production.
  2. Under-desk clearance: pop-up bodies are 100–150mm deep — keep 150mm+ free space plus cable bend radius. Desks with stretchers should use sliding or clamp-mount (TB series, no cutout).
  3. Cable routing: run all module tails through under-desk metal trays; separate power and signal trays so HDMI stays noise-free.
